Open the Editor
From your project, click Open Editor.
Select the Document Type
When prompted to classify your document: Select Books if you are translating a book. Click Continue. Ailaysa will process the uploaded document and prepare it for translation.
Define Your Translation Preferences
Before entering the translation workspace, Ailaysa allows you to specify how you want the translation to be done.
Depending on the available options, you can define preferences such as:
- •Writing style
- •Tone
- •Honorifics
- •Cultural adaptations
- •Idiomatic adaptations
These preferences help guide the AI translation according to the desired characteristics of the translated book.
Once you have configured your preferences, click Open Editor.
Open the Translation Workspace
Ailaysa Tiger opens the translation workspace, where the content of your book is displayed as individual segments or paragraphs. The workspace provides different viewing options, allowing you to arrange the source and translated content according to your preference, including Top and Bottom and Side by Side views.
Start the Translation
Click the Translate button in the top-right corner of the workspace. Ailaysa will analyse the book and generate the translation. The translated content will appear in the corresponding column alongside the source text.
Review and Edit the Translation
Once the translation is available, select any segment to review or edit the AI-generated translation. You can directly modify the translated text whenever necessary. Ailaysa also provides Smart AI tools to help refine individual segments. These include:

- •Re-translate – Generate an alternative translation.
- •Rewrite – Rephrase the translation while retaining its meaning.
- •Shorten – Create a more concise version.
- •Simplify – Make the language easier to understand.
Add or Update Your Glossary
If you did not add a glossary during the initial project setup, you can add one directly from the Ailaysa Tiger translation workspace. In the top-right corner of the workspace, go to Memories and select Glossary.

A glossary can be used to maintain consistent terminology throughout the translation.
- •Add terminology manually.
- •Import terminology from a spreadsheet.
Review the Completed Translation
Review the translated segments and make any necessary edits or refinements. You can use the editing capabilities and Smart AI tools within the workspace to improve individual segments as required.
Download the Translated Book
Once you have completed your review, click the Download icon in the top-right corner of the workspace to download the translated file.
